Purpose of the study: The purpose of this study was to determine the learning environment of students towards physics subjects in Ferdy Ferry Putra High School, Jambi City.
Methodology: This type of research is quantitative using survey research procedures with the instrument used is a questionnaire. The subject of this study was 125 at the Ferdy Ferry Putra High School in Jambi City. Quantitative data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics.
Main Findings: The results of the five indicators discussed in this study, the indicators of the curriculum to physics amounted to 57.6% in the good category. For indicators of teaching and school time and the most dominant building conditions categorized enough with a percentage of 43.2%. Then the indicators of school discipline and the state of the building are equally categorized with a percentage of 45.6% and 48.8%, respectively. While for the indicator of student relations and categorized students both with a percentage of 47.2%. Based on these results, in Ferdy Ferry Putra Kota Jambi City students have a sufficient learning environment towards learning physics.
Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this study is an indicator used to describe student learning environments for physics subjects at Ferdy Ferry Putra High School, Jambi City. The indicators used are curriculum, school discipline, teaching physics and school time, the state of the building and student and student relations.
